Let me whinge.

Lolitas.

I got to whinge a bit…

Yesterday, we met with a US-based vintage pattern company - like many other fashion companies, we don’t design all patterns ourselves. It’s not really feasible given we’re only three designers creating hundreds of patterns on a yearly basis. And it’s also great to see what other people are doing as you do get company blind.

This was my first meeting and I was pretty excited about it. But my gosh she disappointed. None of the patterns appealed and sorry, but she looked like she’d just stepped out of a funeral. Maybe I’m terrible naive (?) but if you spend most of your working hours in vintage haven, shouldn’t you also look and act the part…

UPDATE! Met with another pattern company this morning - and this time we didn’t leave emty handed!

Isaac from Ghana.

This is Isaac Sam Baidoo Dossing, our first Swedish Export from Ghana - I love this photograph of him standing in the dust of the waterfall!

Birds and soap bubbles.

Work in progress. Here are some pictures from my mood board à la summer fashion 2010, based on your ideas. Don’t think we can get more summery than this.

No excuses.

This weekend I’m enjoying the scenery up north, in Dalarna, with my sweetest girls Anna, Elin and Victoria. On the agenda; long walks and cozy dinners. Not back until Monday, so will leave you with Air France’s No Excuses (Elin’s and my travel song) to cuddle up to until my return.

Enjoy!

Silver is the new gold.

Last night, Ana, Rocky and I represented Björn Borg at Guldägget (golden egg), a Swedish advertising competition. Nominated in two categories (interactive and film), we left the show with a silver egg for our mission Peace on Earth!

My very happy colleagues.
