A gift from Diane.
Just before I left for Paris, Diane, the queen of thrifting, sent me this lovely gift. Yellow faded Vanity Fair clippings and vintage bathing suits to get us all inspired for our next designs. Among this piece, a white sandcastle suit from the early 1960’s.
I have to quote her - very bombshell design!

c to the ool! Otroligt söt liten baddräkt. Som en mintkaramell liksom. Påminner om den supersöta lilla tennisdräkten ni har i år. Den med röda detaljer (tror jag?). Den funderar jag allvarligt talat på att investera i och knalla runt i under typ tennisveckan. För det är ju vad tennisveckan i Båstad handlar om, tennis. Inte kröka.

I love the swimsuit! I would love to find a vintage one in good shape. I think it would suit me a lot more than the ones in stores now.

Det finns så många opraktiska och alldeles underbara baddräkter på Beyond Retro. Baddräkter av tjock bomull, baddräkter med små kjolar, baddräkter med märkliga skärningar och baddräkter som skulle få en att sjunka. Baddräkter av allehanda märkliga slag. Baddräkter som jag älskar.
