Answers - on Insider.
Here’s my final post on the Q&A, really enjoyed putting it together! If you missed out on my answers on what it’s like working at Björn Borg, read here.
Since 30 is a bit of a milestone, how has your view on life changed since your 20th? What do you know now that you didn’t know back then?
My view on life hasn’t really changed. I’m still a very much day-by-day person but I must admit that I do dare to let my heart direct me more than once in a while. I mean, what’s the worse that could happen?
Three things I didn’t know back then. That broken hearts can be healed no matter how painful and ugly it gets. That being spontanious and unpatient doesn’t necessarily have to be a curse. And that I have a talent for crochetting pot-holders.
By Book.
What’d you choose for a birthday cake?
I was awefully spoilt this year, my colleagues got me three choices but I favourised the marzipan!
What did you wish for your birthday?
Various kitchen utilites and fancy matchboxes.
What would you do if you won 10 million?
I’d take at least a year off; bring my camera along and travel all over the world. While at it, I wouldn’t mind learning a few more languages too.
Which are favourite blogs?
Some months ago I mentioned a number of blogs I heart, here. And to my right, I’ve listed a few that I look to for inspiration.
Can’t you post a picture of you?
This is a favourite, taken by a dear friend.
How come you’re the sweetest thing ever seen in a pair of shoes?
I’d say my shoes are pretty good looking.
Are you a shoe or a bag person?
Lately I’ve been paying more attention to what I’m wearing on my feet than what I’m carrying over my shoulder. So, a shoe person.
What do you love most about your life?
My family and friends.
What’s your nationality?
I was born and raised in Sweden by a Finnish dad and a Chinese/British mum.
Do you have more photos of you and your twin brother to share than this one?
Sadly, I don’t have that many of me and my twin except for these baby pictures taken by my dad. And hmm yes, I already knew back then what great underwear could do to an outfit!
I’d like to know if you like football and if so who is your favourite team and player?
You mean football as in soccer, right? In that case yes. My uncle used to take me along to matches when I was a little girl and eventually I even started playing myself, holding the right back position.
I don’t watch the games that frequently and I don’t have a favourite player, but Arsenal is still my favourite team. Think I even got some pins lying around somewhere…
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
Get into the art business and run my own gallery.
What do you like to read? Fashion magazines? Fiction?
I read a lot, workwise those mags we advertise in such as Swedish Elle, Vice, i-D and Nylon. But also British Vogue (kept all issues since early 2000), Lula and POP.
When traveling and far away from a computer I don’t mind relaxing with a pile of books, fiction as well as biographies. Right now I’m reading Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami.
Your favourite movie ever?
This one with Vanessa Paradis.
By Maus.
Where do you want to visit the most?
Mainland China. My parents have a place in Lijiang, but I still haven’t been.
Would you emigrate to another country or are you planning to stay in Sweden for the rest of your life?
The thought of moving abroad again has crossed my mind, but it’s all about the timing. For now I’m pretty happy with living in Sweden.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
I’m a city girl at heart, and Stockholm is great in that sense that it’s a bigish city but feels quite small. Just like Berlin and Paris, two cities I wouldn’t mind exploring further.
What’s your morning ritual when you get up?
I’m not particular known to be an early bird, snoozing for about half an hour before I get up. Shower, wardrobe agony and breakfast - usually yoghurt with müsli and fresh fruits - while watching the news and catching up on my emails from the night before. The thrill about working for an international company!
By Bouquet de moi.
What’s your bubbly of choice?
Pol Roger bubbles, but to be honest I do prefer beer… I get so easily drunk on bubbles.
What is your favourite food?
Anything Asian and Swedish husman.
Do you like chantarelles?
Like? Love! Especially in a creamy reindeer stew.
Dark or milk chocolate?
Dark!

I love you even more since reading this post! I too am a city girl at heart - I love the hustle and bustle of a metropolis; the ability to trawl the streets in the dead of night without being viewed as a loon! The pictures of you and your twin brother as children are adorable - you’re still just as lovely! Happy, Happy Belated Birthday, darling! I hope that all of your wishes came true!

All - thank you guys, you’re too adorable!
Dapper Kid - i know, once in a while i get into crochetting but unfortunately i don’t have the patience to create larger artworks than pot-holders. last year, i had a go at making a quilt for my sister’s birthday but i ended up with 30 squares instead… And yes, dark chocolate rules!
The Clothes Horse - yes, please come along!
