Yesterday, I went to the Cheap Monday show with two colleagues. It was surprisingly colorful and spiced with accessories such as sunglases, hats and bags.

It doesnt get more feminine than Ida Sjöstedt SS12 collection. The lace dresses were flirty and elegant. ‘Tasteful kitsch or tongue-in-cheek’ is how Ida Sjöstedt describes her design philosophy.

The first show I saw this years Stockholm Fashion week was Rützous’ SS12 collection. Susanne Rützou uses a soft color palette and her clothes and jewelery has such fine details. The dresses seem light and comfortable for a hot summer day.

Last saturday was the Pride Parade. Almost 45000 people sang, danced, smiled, and filled the streets with their love. It was one of the best Pride parades I’ve seen, it was even hard to keep your eyes dry at moments.

This is Christopher Kanes Resort 2012 collection. Let’s just say it really stands out in comparison to the other Resort collections.. Everything else seems plane and dull after seeing this. Don’t you agree!?

These pictures are from the coming Resort 2012 collections. I think it’s great how the menswear is ‘spiced up’ with accessories like scarves, berets and bags. It really is fun to match such things with an outfit. The above collections are from Prada, Jil Sander and Hermes. The Hermes scarves may not be so surprising… But check out thoes little bags from Jil Sander!!
