Today is World Anti Counterfeiting Day. We’d like to take the opportunity to say thank you to all of you guys and girls who buy the real stuff. Not only do you get the superior quality, you also help fight crime in your own way.
They say that you know you’re successful when someone starts copying what you do. There are brands that copy us in many aspects on a general level. We innovate, they imitate.
However, when someone pretends to be our brand, we take it seriously. The people that create counterfeit goods don’t really bother with quality, and we oftentimes get calls and e-mails from people who (unknowingly) bought fake Björn Borg’s and feel disappointed when they have been destroyed in the first wash, or where the colors faded or where the seams ripped.
These counterfeits have a few details that differ from original ones: the logo on the waistband uses the wrong font, and there is no product called “women’s shorts” in our range.
The quality is not the only problem. Counterfeiting is a major industry today, with links to organized criminal networks. Where we care about issues like the working conditions for the people who make our products, environmental protection and avoiding chemicals that are dangerous for consumers, the producers of fake goods have no scruples. Toxic chemicals which you don’t really want near your private parts are common in fake products. Counterfeit goods seized by the customs show that nearly one product in five is directly dangerous for consumers.
Counterfeit Björn Borgs displayed in a questionable manner that none of the resellers of the real thing would use. You can already see here that the quality of the waistband is very poor.
So thank you for buying the real thing! And should you stumble upon a store or market place, physical or on the web, that sells fake Björn Borg’s – please tell us. We’ll take the fight, and we’ll reward tips that lead to counterfeit sellers and producers getting caught, with authentic Björn Borg’s. If you have any tips, send them to insider@bjornborg.com

This cool beachy editorial is from the latest issue of Vogue Spain. Featuring Martha Streck. It makes me miss the beach, the sand and the waves.. These pictures are by talented photographer Greg Kadel.
Last week we spent a whole day shooting the new web shop pictures with photographer Rikhard Nelson, and Karolina from the e-commerce department. It’s always fun to spend one day away from the office and get a change of environment. Here are some behind the scenes pictures.

The weather during last weekend was so nice and warm, that I almost feel cheated. It’s like we skipped spring and went directly to summer. One of my colleagues here at Björn Borg HQ even went for a quick swim last weekend. I am waiting for the water to heat up a bit more than 9°C before jumping in.
No matter if you’re like Anki, my colleague, or like me, here’s some hot new swimwear from us at Björn Borg.
“Floral Fill” is the obvious name for this pattern on a u-neck and briefs.
“Polka Dot” is the name for this white/pink pattern. The top is a halterneck, the bottom is available as both hotpant (this photo) and brief.
The “Polka Dot” pattern is also available in blue/black. Both color settings are avaiable in both briefs (this photo) and hotpants.
Bandeau with pattern “Play Stripes”. The straps can be removed if you prefer to wear it strapless.
Knee long board shorts with a pattern called “NY Scribble” for the guys who prefer a loose fit
For a tighter fit: midi trunk “aqua race”
For a slim fit: shorts with pattern “Play Stripes”
Another slim fit: woven trunks with pattern “diagonal check”
All this and more is available at your closest reseller or in the web shop (international or the Americas)

Here I go again.. Nagging about Paris, but it’s just so lovely.. AND it’s also the city where Björn Borg won the French Open five times! His six French Open singles titles are an open era male record, imagine that!! The city is so full of life and culture. I’m not surprised that almost all the greatest fashion designers are from Paris… With all of that inspiration all around you, ANYTHING seems possible!

Hi guys.!
Do you feel it too?.. The spring feelings?.. Just wanted to share with you how beautiful Stockholm is during spring time. I took these pictures last weekend. I love spring, knowing that summer is just around the corner, the flowers bloom and it doesn’t get dark at four in the afternoon. What’s spring like where you are?
