What makes you happy?
I’ve always loved dancing to great music. Nothing else compares to that and I’ve always loved music.

Who do you think has the Spirit?
The people who come to the Broken Heart nights, dancing and partying like there’s no tomorrow.

Where do you get your inspiration?
I would never have thought that my broken heart would get me into all the fun I’m having now, but that’s where the inspiration came from so…

What type of music gets you going, gets you pumped?
I really like those Ex-Otago guys you sent me and I love a lot of disco and no-wave stuff.

So together with our friends from Vice, we decided to go out on a journey and find people all over the world that are doing things that make us happy. Our first Close Up takes place in Amsterdam, a city which you and I are pretty familiar with now.
