Berlin, a true European city

by Pernilla on July 9, 2010

Have you ever been to Berlin? If not, like me, you would be truly amazed by this cool city. Unfortunately, the image tool for this blog is not responding this evening, so te pics I took earlier this pm to show you will have to wait. Instead, my verbal envisagememt will have to do. It’s after nine pm and the digital thermometer at the restaurant (called Marx!) where I just had dinner tells me it’s 33 degrees out here. I’m sitting in a deck chair, listening to two south american ladies speaking Spanish next to me. One of them has a frosty glass of something rose coloured that I am very envious of. The Jamaican jerk chicken is still makes a burning sensation in my mouth — 15 minutes after I had it. The whole of Berlin smells like flowers. In short: things could be worse. Soon, I shall find myself in an apartment not far from here, where Björn Borg Germany is arranging a party at a girl’s home. Essentially, she won a party in a competition and seems to have invited 200 of her best friends to her 60sqm big apartment. I have a feeling it can turn out to be a pretty interesting evening. I brought my camera, so if the image tool allows, I’ll update you on the whole thing tomorrow. Happy Friday!

Too bad you’re no longer in our wonderful city — the weather during the Bread & Butter was really unbelievable — this felt more like Madrid… but wait, this was typical “Kaiserwetter” like we always have now, after “the Kaiser” Franz Beckenbauer brought the world cup to Germany in 2006.

Great to hear that you loved Big B ;) After your successfull World Cup edition underwear, why don’t you also create a city underwear collection, in the typical colors of the city, combining the Name and the most important sight on the back of the shorts, for instance “Ich liebe Berlin” and the TV tower as a black printing on red/white-striped shorts

Yes girls, the city was great! Ever been without Internet for a week? It can be quite a challenge. Especially if you would like to upload pics.. I am back to ordinary habits now though, pics coming up! And Björn: thanks for the thought on city underwear. We’ll have to think about that one. :)
